Job Summary


Innovative Labs continues to grow at a rapid pace with challenging and exciting opportunities, providing business solutions in Nutraceuticals, Oral Care and Personal Care as a Contract Manufacturer. The company is looking for a motivated and inspiring candidate to join its R&D Department:

  • Assist with the day-to-day activities of the R&D lab, including formulation development and measurements of key product parameters.
  • Develop and optimize new and existing food and nutritional supplements.
  • Maintain Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Laboratory Procedures and Equipment.
  • Manage individual tasks and work under limited supervision
  • Support development and commercialization of new product launches and line extensions for new and existing clients.

 

Required Skills


  • The ability read, speak and understand basic English
  • Must possess oral / written communication skills, ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Follow GMP standards and guidelines
  • Understand and apply information set forth in SOP’s
  • Handle confidential information
  • Communication skills (written and oral) and effectiveness at managing and organizing multiple projects with timely execution.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Products

 

Experience and Education


  • B.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering Food Science or related scientific discipline.Any experience in analytical techniques, including HPLC, GC, MS, IR, ICP etc. is a plus.
  • Experience in working in a Chemical, Food Science or related discipline laboratory at a minimum.

 

Work Environment


The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas were under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection. For the most part ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
