Document Control Technician 

Job Summary

The Document Control Technician is an essential part of Innovative Labs.  This role assists the Document Control department in completing a variety of tasks including edits, control of documents, maintenance, filing, and record keeping related to document control.


Job Duties

  • Assists in maintaining and creating Quality documents and records, such as specifications, deviations, change requests, production records, etc.
  • Reviews and monitors Quality records for compliance
  • Scans, organizes and files Quality documents and records 
  • Updates and maintains register.
  • Compiles Quality data into spreadsheets 
  • Other duties as requested by supervisor
  • Uses email, computer programs  and other electronic databases and systems for communication, records, and Quality systems


Required Skills

  • Strong work ethic with high level of integrity and ethics
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and ability to effectively work cross-functional team members in a collaborative manner
  • Detail oriented with high level of accuracy in data input, documentation formatting and content review.

Experience and Education

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of Quality or Document Control experience
